Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

\n
• Perform documented weekly inspections to maintain the cleanliness, orderliness, and safety of all work areas, employees, machinery, and safety equipment.
\n
• Evaluate all onsite processes for potential hazardsby completing Job Hazard Analysisand Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Hazards Assessments.
\n
• Implement site specifichazard control and mitigation methods,procedures, and programs.
\n
• Coordinate and conductany new and reoccurring requiredsafety training for all shifts and departments for all employees and contractors.
\n
• Maintain safety trainingrecords and database,certifications, incident reports,and OSHA logs.
\n
• Implement and lead the monthlySafety Committee meetings.
\n
• Ensure the company’s Environmental, Health, and Safety programsand OSHA requirements are followed by all employees and contractors, such as wearing the required PPEs, Proper LOTO, Confined Space and Hot work permits are executed.
\n
• Ensure OSHA, state,and local regulatory and statutory requirements are met.
\n
• Assist with safety related regulatory audits and inspections.
\n
• Assist supervisors with safety relatedincident investigations. Ensuresincident reports are complete with detailed documentations in a timely manner.
\n
• Collaborates with the People Operations Business Partner and onsite Operations Management team for incidents involving injuries, illnesses, Workers Comp claims, and substance testing.
\n
• Works with the quality, operations, and maintenance team on various projects.
\n
• Perform periodic drills and lead the emergency response teams.
\n

Professional Qualifications

\n
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
\n
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Safety preferred.
\n
• Safety related certifications (First Aid Trainer, Forklift Trainer, OSHA 30 within the last 2 years) preferred.
\n
• Flexibility with work schedule
\n
• Computer skills: MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint.
\n
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
\n
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
\n
• Ability to solve problems.
\n
• Ability to buildcollaborative relationships and interface with cross functional teams.
\n
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize to meet deadlines.
\n
• Bilingual Required: Proficient understanding of written and verbal English/Spanish.
\n
