The firm is looking to hire a Credit Fund Controller that has significant experience working with Credit funds. Great opportunity to work directly with a talented CFO and impressive team. The Controller will play an important role in supporting the Client's business as it continues to scale. Ideally the successful candidate will be able to work from the midtown Manhattan office one or two days a week, most weeks but the client is willing to be flexible.POSITION SUMMARYBased in New York, the individual will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of a private credit fund/platform and will be a valued member of the team. The client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional to work directly with the Finance team and Investment Team along with external service providers to ensure efficient execution of firm's strategy and maintain institutional – quality reporting standards. The role requires a highly analytical, hands–on-professional with deep experience in private credit fund finance.Key ResponsibilitiesFinance Leadership· Oversee fund financial reporting, fund operations, and fund formation· Lead FP&A including budgeting, forecasting, liquidity planning, and scenario analysis· Deliver actionable financial insights and performance reporting to senior leadership· Develop KPIs and reporting frameworks aligned with firm-wide strategyOperating Model & Administrator Oversight· Design and implement a scalable third-party administrator governance model· Optimize workflows between internal teams and external administrators· Manage fund administrator relationships to ensure timely and accurate deliverablesFinancing & Capital Markets· Manage relationships with financing counterparties and capital providers· Oversee liquidity management and capital planning xhyhwjd Fund & Capital Formation· Lead finance workstreams for new fund launch· Partner with IR, legal, tax, and investment teams on fundraising efforts· Ensure finance infrastructure is fully built out· Support investor reporting and communications· Manage external auditors, tax advisors, and service providersQualifications· Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance· 15+ years of experience in fund finance, fund accounting, or investment finance within private credit· Deep understanding of private credit fund structures· Strong systems and data orientation (experience with reporting tools and data platforms preferred)· CPA, a plus
